• Automated by Smart Contracts: Auction smart contracts are self-executing agreements with auction terms encoded directly into the code. They automate the entire auction process, eliminating the need for third-party intervention and ensuring all participants comply with predefined rules. These smart contracts encompass regulations related to authentication, guarantees, payments, artists' royalties, and refunds.

• Immutable Provenance Tracking: Each auction lot includes an immutable blockchain record detailing the item's ownership and provenance history. This transparency is meticulously verified during the curation of the auction.

• Immutable ownership - The auction curation guarantees that the artwork is securely stored within a decentralized repository, ensuring its preservation and protection from any alterations in perpetuity.
