# The ACCOMPART'S whitepaper 3.0

   In 2021, the world of computer art was revived with the invention of NFT technology, which enables the identification of a digital artwork's author and sales history. This breakthrough and the advent of blockchain technologies gave rise to new types of WEB3 art projects, such as NFT art marketplaces. As a result, a vibrant new cultural layer has emerged, consisting of new **underground collectors**, **young digital artists**, and **new curators** of computer art.

   After the wave of the computer art renaissance in 2021-2022, the popularity of NFTs took a downturn alongside a natural curation process that sifted out projects deemed irrelevant. In our opinion, the next stage in the evolution of the art industry in WEB3 is the stage of the transformation of traditional art institutions.

   It's time to trust the community's intuition to reshape the legacy auction business model and place the auction industry's future in their hands. So we've created the Computer Art Auction House—Accompart's—in the Web3 space **as a revamp of the traditional form of auction.**
